Executive Producer, Director, Principal at Bottle Rocket Media
I am a New Yorker who luckily found a home in Chicago after a decade-long party in Los Angeles and storytelling has always been at the heart of everything I do. I’ve been lucky enough to explore it from many angles: as an editor, director, producer, and principal of Bottle Rocket Media.
After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I spent years working in film and television production in Los Angeles, chasing stories in the shadow of the Hollywood sign. One freelance gig led to another and I found myself immersed in the world of television editing, eventually moving to Chicago when I joined The Oprah Winfrey Show as lead creative editor. There I had the incredible opportunity to shape meaningful content and take home an Emmy Award in the process.
In 2011, I launched Bottle Rocket Media to bring that same level of storytelling and craft to brands and organizations. Today, I get to lead an amazing team of creatives as we produce everything from commercials and branded content to documentaries, educational videos, and beyond. In 2023, we expanded with a digital marketing arm focused on SEO, SEM, paid media, and programmatic, providing more opportunity to help our clients connect with their audiences.
At the end of the day, I’m still driven by the same thing that got me into this lifestyle in the first place: a deep love of story, a passion for quality imagery, and the power each has to move people.
